I have been in love with photography all of my life, but recognized it as a calling in 2007 when I entered grad school and began taking photographs of my friends for fun.

I love photographing people, but particularly enjoy capturing their emotions. There is something, both magical and motivating, in the ability to create images that resonate deeply with the viewers that see them. I get to create these types of images mostly through photographing weddings and engagements. I thoroughly enjoy capturing the genuine intimacy, sentiment and symbolic details connected to these events.

I also have a base in commercial photography which is more art and style driven, as fashion photography was truly my first love .

My work has appeared in both local and international blogs and print publications which makes me happy to know that I produce images that are worth sharing.

My philosophy on what I do is simple: You simply have to love what you do! Being a photographer is not just a job. What I do is essentially a part of who I am. It inhabits every corner and fibre of my being.

Outside of weddings and engagements I’m intrigued by many different visual art forms. I also love to read! I hold a masters degree in literature and currently pursuing a PhD in english literature. I also consider myself a bit of a foodie and love dabbling in culinary and cooking for myself.
